Distinct from PC, "pc" is an abbreviation for "per cent" accepted and used by all right-thinking people (i.e. 100pc of Mail journalists). The squiggly symbol on the "5" key of the keyboard was invented by Italians, and forced upon the innocent people of Britain by the forces of the EU.
