Been a fairly busy week with adding entries to the Daily Mail Dictionary - thanks to all those that have contributed so far - but I've found time to read other stuff this week and here is the best of it.
Alone in the Dark has the patience to tackle an Amanda Platell column: Insults that betray the bigotry of gay zealots.
Feminazery has a look at why feminism is still important by looking at how the Daily Mail scrutinises women in a way that men don't have to worry about: The one with the killer heels.
Five Chinese Crackers looks at Littlejohn's hypocrisy: Richard Littlejohn's compassion.
Tabloid Watch looks at another case of the Mail first calling someone too fat, then when they lose weight, calling them to fat: Mail - not a fan of The Ghost Whisperer.
The Daily Quail looks at the recent 'fury' about the 'retarded homophobes' comment: Gay adoption fascists call Daily Mail readers 'retards'.
The enemies of reason has a look at what can be done with regards to the Daily Mail's opinion of gay adoption: The Mail and gay adoption: what can be done?
As Anton at the enemies of reason suggests, try this new blog: Don't Get Mad, Get Accuracy - Complain to the PCC. The blog's aim is simple:
The UK Daily Mail has rightly been concerned at the personal attacks that have been levelled at its columnists following their objection to the right of same-sex couples to adopt children. This blog exists for the sole purpose of preventing such unwarranted abuse by encouraging a more constructive approach to the newspaper's opposition to civil rights for all.
