I've a comment posted on the Mail's board below this story (I'm the proud owner of over 1300 red arrows so far):
Good. A judge has no business making such general political statements in a courtroom, especially when they are unfounded and ignorant as in this case. He should be sacked.

Have a look at the only comment that addresses my post. It pretty much seems to sum up the mentality of your average Mail reader:
Richard from Selby, I think you've just shown which way you lean on the Political Platform and it aint to the Right ! Even if you know that what Judge Trigger says is absolutely true and makes common-sense your Political views wouldn't let you admit he was correct would they? How sad.

What insight this man has to gleam all this information on me from a couple of sentences! I'd have thought that he'd be slightly more pro-immigrant, since he is one himself.
I've since tried leaving two more messages in response to him, one of them posted yesterday evening, but the rather haphazard nature of the Mail's boards has meant they are still to appear. |
