The secret of successful journalism is to make your readers so angry they will write half your paper for you.

Hypocricy, bums and boobs PDF Print E-mail

The Mail - bastions of taste and decency - love printing pictures of boobs and bums, whilst at the same time tut-tutting at others who dare to do the same. ManicMiner posted about this story earlier today over at Mailwatch: A portrait of Demi Moore on Twitter, by her (rather immature) toyboy husband Ashton Kutcher:

Marrying a man 15 years your junior does have a down side - just ask Demi Moore.

In a particularly immature move, the actress' husband Ashton Kutcher posted a picture of her derrière on his personal Twitter site.

Naturally the mature Mail post the said picture as part of the 'news' story, immediately underneath the above paragraph.

In other news, the Mail hits a new low for headline and story with their piece on Zara Phillips:

Swinging low

 The 'news' story:

Making the most of the spring weather at the weekend, she wore a low-cut white top while watching her fiancé playing at Twickenham.

Complete with numerous pictures of Zara, with every effort being made by the photographer to get a camera lens down her cleavage.

The Mail constantly complains about the lack of 'moral decency' and constant 'dumbing down' of culture, yet they print this absolute shite. You couldn't make it up*.

Meanwhile, the Mail is still concerned with the weight of female celebrities, whilst making a snide dig:

Natalie Cassidy

And they really wonder why women don't like their bodies?

My section on Richard Littlejohn is growing, with reviews of his books collected from the Internet and a collection of views on Littlejohn from the web as well. I hope to keep adding to it - any contributions welcome - but I need to get it further up the Google search ranking - it currently comes up on page 4 of a search for 'Richard Littlejohn'. So if you could please link to this page: http://www.angrymob.uponnothing.co.uk/richardlittlejohn to help boost the Google ranking I would be eternally grateful.
