Considering how proud Mail readers seem to be about being British, and how often they tut-tut about today's feral youth, you'd think a 13 year old girl singing the National Anthem (very well) at Twickenham would bring out some joy in them. But it doesn't:
She needs to get her teeth sorted.

That was the first comment posted under the article. About a 13 year old singer, braving 80,000 people to sing the national anthem and she does so very well. You have to question the mentality of the person who posted that comment.
Her voice is like fingernails down a blackboard...urgh!

I wonder if Anne is just a smidgen jealous, or deaf.
this girl looks and acts about 25, not 13.

Terry missing the point, or just couldn't manage to say anything positive.
Another Charlotte Church, not really up to much, somewhat deluded!!
- Jean, London England, 15/3/2009 16:15
Yeah, Charlotte Church, wasn't she a terribly unsuccessful singer.
Just a spoilt charlotte church wannabe let's see how she'll turn out when she's 20 on drugs I bet
- Simon Ellis, London, 15/3/2009 16:19
Yeah, absolutely, I mean she is young and successful, so I guess it is right to want or predict that there is misery in store.
In fairness to other Mail readers, these comments are in the red. |
