I do wonder about this though. Apparently she was wearing the thing for most of her nursing career. So why have they all of a sudden demanded the removal of all jewelry? I used to work in the NHS and some medical staff did wear rings, earrings, neck chains etc. Now of course, if they have decided to change the rules, that's up to them I suppose, and if it applies to all jewelry, I don't see why the religious should have an exemption. And if it does apply to all jewelry then Christians are not being discriminated against. She also claims it's against her faith to remove or hide it. Grow up, woman, your god will know it's there even if the public can't see it, and anyway, it's not compulsory in Christianity to wear a crucifix, now is it?
