When Mail commentators regularly support torture I often wonder whether they are capable of compassion, today Mail readers have demonstrated en masse that they are: Cameron staff in tears as Commons is stunned by sudden death of Tory leader's son. The majority were compassionate about: Children find newborn girl in Tesco bag outside London flat, (even managing to praise the children who rescued the child!).

But two people managed to spoil things:
