The media tends to report rumors, speculations, and projections as facts... How does the media do this? By quoting some "expert"... you can always find some expert who will say something hopelessly hopeless about anything.

The approaching war on Muslims PDF Print E-mail

Daily Mail readers are becoming increasingly angry, and increasingly their anger is being directed at Muslims. Littlejohn has already wished for the small group of Muslims protesting against the soldiers in Iraq to 'be sent home' (even though they are UK citizens, and therefore already at home) and better still be sent somewhere with: 'orange jumpsuits, armed guards, razor-wire and large dogs'.

Littlejohn's article was basically inciting hatred against Muslims - 'The Royal Anglians would have been forgiven had they fixed bayonets and charged' - and this incitement is fully supported and encouraged by the Daily Mail. Today, for example, the Mail have an article on a Christian minister being beaten by 3 Asian men:

A Christian minister who has had heated arguments with Muslims on his TV Gospel show has been brutally attacked by three men who ripped off his cross and warned: ‘If you go back to the studio, we’ll break your legs.’

The article states that the police are searching for 3 Asian men in relation to the assault, but they do not state that they are searching for Asian Muslims, nor does the preacher state that the attackers claimed to be Muslim; it is just assumed that they are Muslim. They may well be Muslim, they may well have taken offence at the comments made by the Christian preacher - and as an atheist I find anyone bothering to debate which version of the fairy story they believe in absolutely mad in a supposed age of reason - but this is only a suspicion or assumption.

However, the article clearly links the the attack to Muslims (the headline is: Minister beaten after clashing with Muslims on his TV show) and the reader comments show how the backlash against Muslims is beginning:

I'm quite a level headed guy who doesn't care what colour or creed you are as long as we all play by the same set of rules. But, I am becoming increasingly incensed by the everyday occurance of muslim this, muslim that.

Mike doesn't realise that the 'everyday occurance of muslim this, muslim that' represents the attempt at the Daily Mail to incite racial tension.

Something HAS TO BE DONE!! When is this madness going to end??

Surely can't be Muslims. After all, Islam is the "religion of peace," isn't it?

This is just the start, the back lash will surely come later.

Yet another example of ''peaceful & tolerant'' Islam at work?

How much longer before ENOUGH!

Otherwise, I am afraid this will become a regular occcurrance.

Are we Christians going to keep accepting this?

This is OUR country and we need to defend it. The Police FARCE and Government no longer suit the needs of the majority and its time we all got together to protect our country from this blatant aggression.

Who's with me?
